Implementation of a land information system in Uganda: project presentation at GLP 2014

IGN France International attends the World Bank Conference on land and poverty that takes place in Washington (March 24/ 27, 2014). 

At this occasion, the DeSILISoR project (Design, Supply, Installation, Implementation of the Land Information System and Securing of Land Records) is presented.


In 2010, the Consortium led by IGN France International was awarded a World Bank tender for DeSILISoR project for the securing of property titles through the development of a unique land information system for the six pilot Ministerial Zonal Offices (MZOs) of Kampala, Mukono, Wakiso, Jinja, Masaka and Mbarara, Department of survey and Mapping in Entebbe and the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development Headquarters.
