The PAPDFGC, a project to support the preservation and development of gallery forests and production of the digital base map, was set up in 2013 with help from the European Union (EU) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNPD).
The 15,500 aerial photos covering the whole country that were taken as part of the PAPDFGC project were today officially handed over to Mr José TONATO, Minister for Living Environment and Sustainable Development by Jospeh COLL, ambassador and head of the European Union’s delegation in Benin along with the United Nations System’s Resident Coordinator and UNPD resident representative in Benin, Mr Siaka COULIBALY.
