The IGARSS 2024 (International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium) was held in Athens from 6 to 12 July. This event, organised by the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society, is one of the world’s largest conferences in the field of remote sensing.
Two of our experts have been selected to give an oral presentation.
Jean-Abdoulaye Morand, PhD student – expert in ecosystem accounting and GIS, presented his work entitled “Assessment and Monitoring of Ecological Continuity with a View to Improve Ecosystem Natural Capital Accounting”.
An Vo Quang, PhD – expert in remote sensing and artificial intelligence, also gave a presentation on “Detection of Degraded Forests in Guinea, West Africa, Using Convolutional Neural Networks and Sentinel-2 Time Series”.
Both presentations gave rise to positive discussions and feedback.
