Our Commitments

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a common blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future.

It is structured around the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which constitute an urgent call to action for all countries, developed and developing, within the framework of a global partnership.

The projects carried out by IGN FI, whether they aim to reduce inequalities, limit the number of conflicts, or measure changes in forest cover, contribute at their level to the achievement of the SDGs. In addition, IGN FI is committed to ensuring decent working conditions for the people it employs on its projects, enabling them to make a living from their work.

on their scale to the achievement of SDGs

Whether it concerns land projects or flood control, our projects aim to strengthen the resilience of the poorest populations and reduce their exposure and vulnerability to climatic phenomena.

Some of our projects contribute to optimizing agricultural yields or productivity, or to preserving natural resources and managing them sustainably.

Our projects participate in planning cities so that they can offer a quality life for all and guarantee access to basic services. Territorial planning and development are at the heart of our expertise.

By implementing tools that allow visualization of risk areas and potentially impacted populations and infrastructure, we help decision-makers address climate change.

Preserving ecosystems, measuring the progression of urbanization on arable land, measuring year after year the impact of forest fires, and the evolution of forest cover are topics that our teams are passionate about.
