Minister Bruno Nabagné KONÉ participated on Friday, November 11, 2022, at the Golden Palace hotel in Grand-Bassam, in the closing ceremony of the 3rd workshop for the validation of reviewed procedures as part of the re-engineering work.

This workshop, organized by the Directorate of Modernization, IT, Simplification, and Securing of Deeds (DIMISSA), allowed several stakeholders and professionals in the land sector to meticulously examine all land procedures in Côte d’Ivoire, in order to optimize them and implement them into the Integrated Urban Land Management System (SIGFU).

The Minister of Construction, Housing, and Urban Planning, Bruno Nabagné KONÉ, took this excellent opportunity to congratulate all stakeholders of the Urban Land Simplification and Digital Transformation project for the quality of the work and the results obtained which, according to him, “will provide a concrete response to the complexity, slowness, and dispute resolution issues decried by many citizens who wish to access land ownership without hassle.”

While also inviting the various stakeholders in the land sector to continue their efforts to sustainably improve urban land management in Côte d’Ivoire, Minister Bruno Nabagné KONÉ expressed satisfaction with the speed at which the work was carried out.

It should be noted that at the end of this closing ceremony of the third workshop for the validation of reviewed procedures as part of the re-engineering work, each professional stakeholder received a certificate of participation.

Operated by IGN FI, the implementation of the Integrated Urban Land Management System is part of the urban land simplification and digital transformation project initiated by the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Urban Planning (MCLU) and the Ministry of Budget and State Portfolio (MBPE). It aims to simplify and accelerate the process of issuing administrative documents, secure land information by drastically reducing land conflicts and disputes, and finally, improve the business environment in Côte d’Ivoire.
