Context
One of the main components of the Multi-Purpose Cadastre Implementation Project in the country consisted of the establishment and operation of permanent reference stations (CORS) and the strengthening of the control center for the geodetic network of the Republic of Colombia, in accordance with the technical specifications established by the Instituto Geográfico Agustín Codazzi - IGAC (Agustín Codazzi Geographical Institute).

Missions
- Site suitability assessment: the project for installing new stations began with the management and implementation of assessment committees and the preparation of corresponding reports. Following this project, 13 new CORS stations have been installed and a control center is operational, integrating existing stations and continuously broadcasting real-time corrections (RTK and NRTK).
- Installation of permanent stations (CORS): the management of installation missions involved drilling activities, station installation, and their commissioning.
- Establishment of a control center and integration of existing stations: supply and configuration of the control center server, enabling real-time monitoring of station operation and retrieval of acquired coordinates.
- Geodetic network observations, calculations, and adjustments
- Provision of online services: establishment of a public website enabling the use, configuration, parameterization, and implementation of these services (real-time corrections, online calculation, PPP calculation, geodetic database).
